On a beautiful day in May, I met up with a young man who is about to begin his senior year of high school. From the very beginning, it was clear that he has a bright future ahead of him. Thoughtful, confident, and easygoing, he brought a quiet confidence to the session that made photographing him a joy.
The Beauty of Spring in Downtown Denver
Colorado weather always keeps us on our toes, but on this particular afternoon, it couldn't have been more perfect.
The sky was a brilliant blue, the sun was shining, and the city felt alive. Ending with a Colorado Surprise
The weather stayed absolutely perfect throughout almost our entire session. We enjoyed clear skies, warm sunshine, and ideal lighting from beginning to end.
Then, just as we wrapped up our final portraits, Colorado reminded us who's really in charge.
Dark clouds rolled in, the wind picked up, and a spring storm began to move across the city.
We couldn't have timed it any better.
It felt like the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon—a reminder of how quickly things can change and how important it is to embrace the moment while it's here.
